I have the CT ones (bought at half price, natch). I like them, and I like the fact that they're two-sided. The Thomas Pink ones are more distinctive for sure; I'm not sure I'd wear them unless my cufflinks matched design-wise.

It would help greatly if we could see what cufflinks you're trying to match.

I think the first one matches your Bvlgari better. I've seen those cuff links at the Bvlgari Boutique and they're really quite nice.

I like the rounded look of the second pair, it gives them a more refined look. The first pair look more like high school prom, compared to the second pair which look more like a socialite out on the town.

bowtie, perhaps. But, I think one advantage the first set offers is the MOP option should one choose to go that route.

I have the Pink ones. They're solid and feel like they'll last a lifetime. The CT ones, not so much, from appearances. And the MOP will only be required for white tie, so they don't offer thatmuch flexibility.

I'm looking for a stud/cufflink set to wear on my wedding day. I want something classic, like the look of MOP.

for reference, here is an example given on blacktieguide.com

^Yes, get a vintage set on ebay. With a little patience you can find a great set at a great price. The vintage set you found looks nice.

Be aware that vintage sets will usually have three studs, many modern dress shirts will have holes for four. Find a shirt with only three stud holes.
