Opinions on these Dack's Brogues - Keep or Return them?

Hi Gents,

I recently purchased a pair of the Dack's "Turner" Brogue in Dark Leaf Burnished Calf. I quite like the shoes, but am curious to have others opinions. I believe Dack's are now made by Cheaney, which many on here are not fond of (perhaps because they sometimes use grain-corrected leathers?), but I would think this pair is an exception...

They were purchased at 50% off retail, so I paid $237.50 CAD + tax. Not bad considering that AE retail for $300-400 CAD up here (and our dollar is quite weak right now anyway).

The question is, given the cost and look of the shoe, should I keep them or return them? Despite the fact that they were on sale the SA assured me I could return the shoes if they were not worn outside.

^^ The only thing holding me back is that the toe on them appears just slightly wider than I would like. From afar the shoe still has a relatively slim profile, but I wouldn't mind if the toebox was just a bit more slender.
Overall I quite like them though.
