I prefer less of a break, but that's just a personal preference. Those look fine.

I'd think about getting a dressier pair of shoes, though.

They're definitely not too short (some here will scoff and say they're too long). I think this is fine. I would prefer better shoes, as Charles said.

Looks just fine IMO. The tendency of most posters on style forum is to go with very little to no break, which, in the "real world" leads most people to think something is wrong with your pants/you are preparing for "high water".

Gosh, I remember buying a suit at Brooks Brothers and they adamantly insisted that the pants must not be tailored with anything less than a full break because "the cuffs of your pants flap around while you walk". They we're really big fans of the Black Fleece line anyway....

Stacks are for denim, not dress pants. Take it to your nearest high quality menswear tailor and ask for no break and a taper to 7" diameter hem.

+100. Many posters in this forum seem to forget that very little break only looks fine when you're posing for a photo. In real life your socks will be on display with every step you take and people will deride you for having short trouser legs. That's not cool.

Agreed, I don't like for my pants to be halfway up my shin when I'm sitting down.

The short ankle pants as well as tassel loafers should be dead. Those 80-s horrid attributes are absolutely ugly.

Hmm..but as a true forumite, don't you want to demonstrtate spezzatura with socks not matching your trousers, but rather some article of clothing above the waist?Plus those double strap monk shoes are shown off to full effect with lilttle to no break,n'est pas?

I like my pants shorter. Much shorter, I cuff them right above the break point.

Though, those seem perfectly fine and 5X's better than the average person out there.

Thanks for the opinions. And yes, I knew my shoes would get criticized as well but I'm getting a new pair very soon.
