Opinions on casual blazer?

So i decided to ship this blazer to me out of curiosity as i was buying other stuff - i was going to return it, but i really like the fit. Armholes are decently high and the back is relatively clean for a half-lined jacket (it's called a "seersucker" jacket but it's wool so im not too sure about that). However i'm not sure about the pattern - do you guys think it looks faded/dated?

Here's a picture of me wearing it, and another closeup of the pattern. The color of the closeup is a much more accurate representation of what it actually looks like:

Does this look too dated (especially since i'm 20)? How would you wear it to avoid looking like you walked off the set of Mad Men without changing? Should i keep or return it? Any opinions/criticisms welcome.
Thanks!

also, everything fits well and the only thing i would do i shorten the sleeve length (the jacket might be long by a teeny bit too)

i'm no expert, but it looks like it's too big in the shoulders for you.

Hm It is slightly big, but I like the overextension has I have pretty narrow shoulders to begin with.

I think it looks ok in a casual setting for daytime wear.

The shoulders tend to slope a bit but other than that it's fine.

I find nothing wrong with it. The plaid looks good.
