This suit is probably best described as slate blue, maybe air force blue with a hint of grey. Also, it's 100% cotton, so it would be worn as a casual summer suit.

I am wondering if I could go with these light brown horn buttons, which I think would be a nice change of pace from the standard dark buttons. My standard alternative would be smoked MOP.

What are people's thoughts on these buttons for this suit? Regardless of suit material and level of casualness, are light colored buttons a bit too much?

Thanks.

those buttons are nice. something in off-white for summer would be nice too - except that would make it even more casual.

why is the summer suit lined?

Thanks niidawg. As for the lining, I am not sure. I just described it as a summer suit because it's cotton, and its primary wear would be in the summer. Maybe "casual" suit would be a better description especially if I add the lighter horn buttons.
