Opinions needed...

Ok, first post but just thought I'd see what you guys thought about this suit for interview season.

Do you think with the super 140's material it would be worth the $370? Or can you get somewhat of an upgrade with a little more cash thrown in? Great forum by the way and thanks for any help/opinions offered.

That's way too much for a Lauren suit. They're available for less every day at Marshalls. Have you checked out the offerings at Sierra Trading Post? Sometimes you can find a very nice suit there for less than $500.

How old are you? That's a lot of pleats and a lot of shirt for me...

if i was in your situation, i would not pay more than $200 for a lauren suit, and probably would stay below 150 or 175. They're definitely available at Marshall's at that price.

As for it being "too many pleats" per Jared's statement above, double pleats are normal. I would not wear a flat front suit to an interview since the default is double pleated.

Thanks for the replies, they are appreciated. I can spend between 500 and 600 for a suit but I saw this and thought it might be decent quality for the price and I liked the way it looked. With my alloted budget what brand would you suggest in a dark navy suit? I seem to be finding 300 or 2000 dollar suits.
