Two new jackets I bought recently. I might keep them or sell them, I'm not sure yet... What do you think about the fits (I know the sleeves need to be altered)?

The first one is Lanvin cashmere, the second one Isaia wool/cashmere

maybe take a picture with a posture that you would normally have... people don't pose like that :p

I think they both fit alright the one on the left a little better IMO (although the sleeve could use 1/4 - 1/2" maybe)

Actually I felt the right one fits better but it's very likely that I'm wrong.

It's hard to tell the way you have your arms out but to me it looks like the sleeves on the first jacket are a touch longer then the one on the left. Otherwise a fine fit all over.

Probably the most important detail is that the one on the left looks too short.

I disagree.
I think they both look very good for OTR jackets.
(I think the photo on the left was taken from farther away but the two jackets are not that different in length.)

Heh, quite a few conflicting responses.

At first glance, and based only upon the somewhat unnatural pose in both pictures, I think #2 is really pretty good. Basically nice fit, and honestly a very handsome jacket.

#1 does look at touch short; that may be just the camera angle, but that does jump out from the picture. And obviously the sleeves need adjustment. Otherwise, though, it's not bad.

Thanks for the opinions... The only on the right is taken from a closer point. There is about 0.5 inches between the lengths of the two.

My concern about the one on the left is more about the fit around the waist.
