I'm browsing through a website and see a pair of navy blue suede dress shoes that look very elegant and on sale for around $70. How do people here feel about navy shoes? They seem pretty flashy and I'm not too sure on what kinds of suits I could style them with. Any ideas or tips?

With a lightweight, hardly wool summer suit, such as a loud seersucker. In other words, due to not just color but also material and blucher styling, they are not very useful with suits, but they do look nice and can be worn with many less casual outfits.

Navy is IMO hard to wear and not that versatile. I think you have to be creative to make sure that it matches and also your outfit isn't oversaturated with color. It's still a lovely and unique shoe color so to me the effort to make it work is well worth it.

Navy is an easy match with grey trousers. Can't imagine my wardrobe without them. Here is a pairing for you:

While RogerP's shoes look amazing and really nice, I think your electric navy suede shoes would be more only with lightweight grey like others said or more casual with a blazer/jeans pairing.
