Opinions: Classic Spring/Summer Coat? Khaki Trenchcoat?

Apart from the trench, these all seem somewhat heavy for anything I'd really consider a summer coat. I personally have a light stone rain mac that is probably closest in description to the khaki trench along with various thin cotton ones not covered here.

Want to pick up this:

So basically anything cotton, thin and light would be appropriate?

Anywhere people would recommend me to purchase a coat? I'm in Vancouver Canada for reference.

Why not for a pea coat if it is made of cotton. It has the shortest length compare to the rest. More suitable for what you want. But you really want to wear any of this in Summer?

None of these. Try a sport coat-cotton for summer and tweed for spring. A cardigan works well, as does a lighter car coat.

I'm probably gonna get a Khaki TrenchCoat mid-thigh length.

At which point it stops being classic.

I wouldn't pick any of these for the summer.

Unless you're just worried about rain ?
