Opinion on this hoodie?

Why do you need to get a hoodie with a print on it anyway?

Because of the font or that it's a word?

Thirdly, the color of the logo, to me, just looks terrible.
What colour are you seeing?

Fourth, the hoodie itself looks like any other plain cheap hoodie you'd find at athletes world (2 for $40).
Most likely yes.

Would hardly keep you warm; especially in the weather Vancouver's been having lately.
I'm used to much colder weather than Vancouver's capable of producing, it's the rain on my head I don't like.

Fifth, it looks like it would fit pretty poorly.
How do you tell that? Because of how it is on the manequin?

You should wait till next year and look to score some W+H/Spruce hoodies from CYC's sample sale. That's what I did; $35 for awesomely fitting, thick, warm sweaters.
This somewhere in Vancouver, or online?

That its a logo; I usually shy away from any kind of branding. Cool graphics on a t-shirt, I have no problem with, so long as its not any kind of logo/symbol/brand. And I'm not saying that I like the font either; I echo previous sentiments that I do not find the typography/font appealing at all.

Some peachy, pinkish color.

Yes, from the picture it LOOKS to be fairly baggy and loose fitting. Again, not saying I am 100% sure it is, but it looks like it would fit fairly poorly.

So is the idea that everything should be pretty form fitting?

Thanks, I'll have to check that out next year. Is that their regular store location so I can see what they have in stock and have an idea of what I'd like when I go in for the sale?

Well for me personally I like clothes to be more form fitting. Of course I'm not saying it HAS to be form fitting to be good for EVERYBODY.

Unfortunately not... Even though they are designed/made in Vancouver, I don't believe there are any retail locations that stock them regularly if at all. You may have to search around, do some digging for pics posted by members.

Don't ask for our opinions if you're going to argue about it with every post. We told you what we thought so leave it at that.

I'm not arguing the opinions, I'm asing for clarification. The level of most of the responses would fail junior high school level English tests. Saying something doesn't look good without explaining why is useless to me. Might as well not respond if you're not going to explain your response. As I said earlier the "unremarkable" and "nothing special" responses are the only ones that don't need any elaboration because all it's saying is that it's not a standout hoodie in any way.

I don't understand why it matters why people find it unnatractive. Sometimes it's just the complete look, not each minor detail. You're not trying to design a hoodie based on this model. You wanted opinions because you were thinking of buying it. Not 1 person here likes it even a little bit. If i'm going to get a baggy athletic hoodie, i'll go get 2 champion/nike hoodies for the price of that with no branding. No branding also makes it better to layer in my opinion. The gold against white is too flashy. Most people here generally like form fitting clothes, not skin tight, but more form fitting. I don't like many words and logos on my shirts. I don't want people reading my clothes. It makes me self conscious when someone is reading me. Unless you want to develop a new hoodie based on it, i'd suggest just leaving that hoodie alone unless you basically want to spend money just to support the guy who owns the place that you like. Who cares what reasoning people have behind their opinion. It's still their opinion. If you don't like it, tough, don't ask for it. It doesn't make their opinion invalid. I dont' like a lot of things. It's not always something specific, it might just rub me the wrong way for some reason. Don't passive aggresively beat people around because they don't like it.

You obviously missed the part about me wanting to hear the reasoning behind not liking it because if someone with a completely different sense of style from me thinks it looks horrible that doesn't necessarily mean anything. This thread could be mostly emos who like dark, ultra-skinny clothes (like a number of people on this forum judging by the WAYW thread pics) who wouldn't like it because it's not their style, which I find to be horrible (and many people here seem to think it looks good). Getting an explanation lets me figure out if the opinion is coming from someone who actually has a sense of style or is deluded into thinking they have one. If I had just wanted a thumbs up or thumbs down I would have started a poll.

Yah, I think everybody is ready for this thread to die...

If you don't want rain on your head, buy an umbrella!

I was in vancouver last week shopping on robson street and the weather went from pleaseant to torrential rain storm almost instantly. If I lived their, I would definitaley invest in an umbrella. Most stores that I walked into even had umbrella holders for customers to use!

edit: yes, I do recognize the irony in posting in a thread I no longer want around...

I have an umbrella, it's a pain ********** to carry around all the time. I never said I really wanted. I was hoping for some useful responses, they didn't turn up until the end of page 2. There's a difference between criticising a response that's useless to me and taking a post as an insult. Obviously, people who can't construct useful posts don't have the mental capacity to recognise that difference either.

Jesus, you are hostile. I don't like it because it looks like it is poorly made, baggy, and the graphic looks like the same thing you would find on a quicksilver or billabong hoodie. If you already had your mind made up about it then why the hell did you make this thread in the first place?
