Opinion on these monk straps

I am looking at these monkstraps from AE. They would be my first. I would appreciate any comments.

Monks can be a pain to fit. Make sure you try them before pulling the trigger.

Frank, how old are you? If you're under 40, I say get something a bit more "youthful" looking. I am in the minority, however, and think that AE as a brand is old-fashioned and boring. The price to quality ratio on these, however, may be hard to beat.

Are they for winter (because of the rubber sole)?

And I am not a fan of the split-toe on monks.

not a fan of the split toe/apron toe monks either. Plain toes/vamps are best on monks imo.
