There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hi all...this is my first post. I'd be interested in your opinions on quality suit, shirt, and shoe brands. I'm located in Connecticut, so my options have been limited to a few specialty clothing stores and then the big name department stores. I travel to New York fairly often, but haven't done much shopping there. Here is a quick description of what is in my closet. I like everything, but am looking to expand my horizons.

    Suits
    - Samuelsohn - love the suit, a little too much rise in the pants for my taste but that could just be the fit
    - Coppley - MTM with one of their "newer" cuts, just got it and am pleased
    - Hugo Boss: Hugo Red Label - I've read the reviews here and realize they don't get much love here. Got them on sale and they fit like a glove. Just had to have the jacket brought in at the waste. Perhaps this gives you an idea of the fit I like.
    - Hugo Boss: Black & Selection - accumulated a handful of these over the years
    - Indochino - tried this once, not that impressed, get what you pay for

    Shirts
    - Eton - slim fit shirt just needs to be tapered a bit, these have been my go to shirt lately
    - Thomas Pink - slim fit had to be tapered, like the shirts, but I think Eton has the edge
    - Turnbull & Asser - don't have any yet, but am looking forward to getting fitted in NYC

    Shoes
    - Magnanni - I've been addicted to these lately, love the styles

I'd prefer to stick to the $1,200 to $1,500 range on suits, around $200 on the shirts, and $300 to $500 on the shoes. Would be interested in any opinions. Thanks is advance for your suggestions.

P.S. anyone have success picking up quality suits on eBay. Saw a Tom Ford I was interested in, but have no clue how to tell if it is authentic or a knock off.

    Thanks again

For your budget, you can do much better than all the suits you mention: Canali, Corneliani on the highstreet or even Kiton, Attolini, Borrelli etc on the B&S of this forum.
T&A is my choice for shirts, generally considered best in your pricerange.
For your budget, I'd look at C&J shoes, or maybe Church's
