Opinion on Persol 649 color

Hi guys!
I decided to get a pair of 649s. But I need some advice on the color. The choice is between Havana and Light Havana, so there's really not a huge difference. But... Any opinions and why?

I have the Havana and like it. The Light Havana looks a little too fashion-forward to my eye.

Get the Havana.
I have them with Dark Brown lenses and they're the best sunglasses I've ever owned. Wear them all the time.

I have the light havana. I like the color more but as far as i know they do not make the light havana polarized but the normal havana is. for that reason alone get the havana

I've had the 714 (very similar shape, but folds) for a few years and still love it. 649 seemed a bit bigger, at least the pair I tried on. I know you asked about color, but thought I'd throw that out there for consideration.

They're the exact same shape and size - only difference is that the 714 folds. You may have tried on a different size on the 649.

I have the 2994s in Havana and really like them, but the lighter ones also look very nice.

Darker = more versatile & traditional;
but, both look really good.

Looks like this has been discussed in another thread a few years back. In addition to the size differential (which may be a few mm width sizing issue, as you're saying), I vaguely remember some minor cosmetic differences when handling both in person.

I also really like my 2869's, especially the color, though I'm not sure if they offer this color in 649 or 714.

EDIT: I think the comparison below does show some significant differences in the details, especially around the bridge.
