Are they conservative enough for i-banking interviews? Or should I go with a cap toe?

They are fine. The MAJORITY of people do not even notice your shoes. Wingtips are pretty conservative.

Bankers would. I'd wear a pair of Bostonian black captoes before I wore those brown wingtips to a banking interview.

If you can get the Tods for a nice price you should buy them. Nice shoes. However, I would probably go with black cap toe or a wingtip. All things considered, it is always best to go with lowest common denominator in an interview (with regard to appearance). Or in this case, the typical conservative black lace up shoe. Good luck with the interview.

I agree, they're fine. I'd probably choose black, but if this is what you have, then they'll be fine.

Some people think if their shoes or tie or suit arn't conservative enough they won't get the job. I think if you are well qualified and do well in the interview, shoes should not be an issue.

I would also go with cap toes. More formal. Shoes are the first thing many people notice. If it's between you and another equally qualified candidate, why not make the best impression?
