Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and, in all honesty, new to "style". After reading a bunch of threads on this forum (including the thrift store find thread) I took a trip out to a few local thrift shops and at one came across a suit that caught my eye. The fabric colour and texture looked nice. I tried the jacket on and, as far as I could tell, it fit better than a number of other suits I've had over the years.

Here is the jacket, it is perhaps a hair too long as the bottom comes about .5 to .75" past my knuckles and the sleeves are about the same length too long.

Here is the texture of the fabric:

These are the only tags on the whole suit, I don't think they indicate the brand of the suit at all except that it's made in Canada and probably Quebec since the french is first:

Anyways, the suit was $10 so I picked it up. Anyone have any ideas on the origin of the suit? Can you tell anything based on the style? The pants are a little long and wide in the leg, should I have the leg taken in a bit to make it a little more contemporary? Would you recommend a cuff on the pants?

Sorry for all the questions!
