"ugly" may be overstated, but it is hardly called beautiful.
and also I really mean the toplift, not the whole heel, so it is nothing wrong about the balance of the shoe.

i dunno what the toplift is, sorry.

I hope, you included the main measurements.

Without the various circumferences, the outline means nothing at all.
The circumferences (in connection with the outline) will give the depth of your feet.

bengal, thank you for the graphic.

would you mind if we use it as a tool for our measurement process?

in this special case, the outline is just an indicator for the general size. shoes will be delivered personal. atm, this service is only available in parts of Europe.

It's not my picture, I just downloaded it.

As you can see by the French text, it appeared a few years back in one of the French shoe magazines: Trepointes, probably.
The picture is actually larger; for reasons I can't remember, I had to save it in two parts. Here is the lower section:

I can't see the magazine or the designer having any objections, but if there are any, it would have to come from their direction.

Kielman in Warsaw pinched part of the drawing as well.

fritzl, you keep saying Paprika are bespoke, i.e. here, and while I have no doubt that Mr. Kiss has made many shoes for you, I don't see how that's relevant since as I understand it, the shoes you're peddling have already been made and you simply get measurements from interested members to try to get them in a deadstock shoe that will best fit them.

While they may be handmade, if they are bespoke, I suppose they're abandoned bespoke orders at best? Or are they merely handmade shoes on 'generic' yet proprietary lasts?

Another thing: has Mr. Kiss actually retired or is he still making shoes? I think you mentioned he doesn't sew uppers. So what does he do exactly? Close the shoes and attach the soles? And what's this business about getting uppers sewn in China?

    i call them custom made.

    you're absolutely correct.

    this.

he is in his workshop everyday. it's at home in his yard. he is still making shoes. i dunno if he is taking new clients.

And what's this business about getting uppers sewn in China?

    this was an inside joke...
