yep, Karl Ivants, Maftei, Materna...

it's particular for the first order. let's see what the future will bring.

as i said several times. long distance is a tricky thing. imo, it needs a lot of experience and understanding of the process from the customer side.

honestly, it would have been impossible to start a project like this without the expertise I gained over the years.

plan B? there's always a plan. we at "Operation Paprika" had the pleasure to deal with a number of regulars from the forum, who have been experienced enough and possess a lot of understanding in the field.

look at the comments of i.e. ajl, vox, iammatt.

certainly every order has been fullfiled up to now. if there wouldn't be a chance to replace an "ill" fitting pair, we make a full refund. the few exchanges were on our expenses, whether it was our fault or not. that's part of our personal customer service attitude.

if you have more questions feel free to ask.

ps: paprikas do fit...

In addition to one comment from ajv, I haven't seen much comments aside from that of vox and luk-cha. And the last 2 could be summarised summed as damning with faint praise and a full on horrorshow gallery respectively. TBH, you seem to be doing most of the talking for your customers.

none, this is against the object and rules of "Operation Paprika".

TBH, we are really sorry that we cannot proceed your application.

we wish you good luck for attempts at other places in the future.

none, in my book.

my personal rule of thumb: when i use a new maker/workshop, let them use the materials, they are used, too. then go the full nine yards. imo, with the first order, there are things to figure out. if you read across the bespoke topics almost everybody from medwards to aportnoy admitted that there is space for development, either in the works than in building a relationship.

i don't even understand the approach to have a custom last made and send it to the maker without seeing him.

i.e. Michael ay visited Cliff and Slewfoot visited Chay at Alfred Sargent to discuss their demands. Michael also opted for a trial shoe, which for me is a very wise thing in a long distance process.

following these simple rules and doing your homework helps to avoid a lot of hassle, at least it did for me.
