Open or closed quarters?

I think a DB is supposed to hang straight, so no angle.

I like open quarters but not too open, and not too big a curve.

The front edge should be perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. No exceptions or alternatives. When they are not, you have balance issues.

^ I know! I should post that in the Bespoke Tragedies thread.

I've had them close up the spacing on subsequent gear.

thanks.

im not sure if it is just Isaia, but all my isaia coats are closed quarters. it may be just how it fits me but i dont believe that all Isaia V and S bases all come in closed quarters? these two fits are one of the most favorite fits here on sf, and it wouldnt be if they came only in closed quarters, thus, i think it is how it fits to each one that determines the closed or openness of a quarters.

I like this coat. The open quarters, the sloping flapless pockets, the button stance, the wide windowpane check..... this suit has personality.
