Anyone had any experience with these guys? From what I can gather they have a pretty extensive catalog and specialize in custom making denim. There's a pretty massive thread on sufu here, but I figured I'd start one over here just to see what you guys had to say. Here's what they offer: http://ooe-yofukuten.com/bottoms.html and I'm fairly sure for each cut they have upwards of 50 types of denim to choose from. I'm really digging these though. Throw in a nice chambray and you've got perfection IMO:

This page lists most of the denim weights. They seem to range between 12-14.5oz. I've been interested in these since they were posted on horriblyjollyjinx's blog, but since I'm currently stocked up on denim I'm waiting to see how they turn out before I order a pair. All the fabric options sure are nice, if not a little overwhelming.

I've got a message into them trying to order a pair of their 60s inspired jeans. No reply yet. I'm trying to research how long I can expect to wait, but considering they're basically a two-person shop, it could be a while.
Prices are very reasonable considering the hand tailored result.

I've been following the SuFu thread on these things. Look AWESOME!!! Apparently they are very soft denim, (at least the ones chosen by the guys who've had them made so far, there are SOOOO many choices of fabric). Not great fading properties but apparently very well made, very authentic, very comfortable and they have a great look. These will probably be my next pair but I have a long way to go to get to these. They should get some love on here though, much better suited to SF than SuFu.

That's awesome, hur! Let us know how they fit.
Did it take a while for them to reply back to you?

I've had a three or four day delay in my contact with them. Ordering a pair of 2901xx (29 denim, '47 cut) without customization - 18900 yen + 4000 shipping.

I thought about asking for circle arcs, but thought that might look goofy on ******.

My order from Ooe just shipped yesterday. Should be arriving in 5 days or so. #27 denim, raw selvedge, unsanfordized LHT with unbleached warp threads in the WWII cut which can be seen here...

#8 pocket bags, traditional hardware. Can't wait to get them. Pics to follow...
Ryo and Hiro are great to deal with, respond within a couple of days of you emailing them and their English is very good as well. I can't say enough about the experience so far. Hope everyone takes a few mins and checks out all of the options and considers them for their next pair of high end denim. I'll take some pics and show everyone what comes in the mail when they arrive, I can't wait!

Ooe's arrived today, they are awesome!!!! Right up there with my Ande Whalls, great character to the denim. They have been soaked and are drying now, pictures tomorrow or the next day. I misstated above that these were LHT, they are actually RHT but everything else was correct. Lots of indigo loss in the inital soak but they are still the darkest jeans I've ever owned.

Comparison with Ande Whall Cougars... about 1 year 3 months. Not everyday wear, and I sit at a desk everyday.
