I thought I would start up this thread again. It totally blows my mind that good printed t-shirts retail for $60-$90 at places like Barney's Coop. There's got to be an online source that has good designs that are more reasonablly priced. And please don't tell me Threadless -- their designs are lame.

I'd be interested in that too. Anyone?

My choice too. Prices are incredibly reasonable, there are always sales. And some of the stuff by the guys in the shop like Most honorable are pretty cool. Plus, great collabs.

I'm happy with a couple of tshirts from built by wendy. Not for everyone, of course. Far as I know, all printed on Amer Apparel.

What are the Breakbeat Science stock shirts like?

Yeah anyone know what breakbeat science is printed on? American Apparel?

When I first saw the name I first thought of the album by DJ Dara.

Their earlier shirts (and maybe they've gone back to them) were printed in AA shirts. The summer 2005 shirts were cut and sews (and really well fitting) from a Canadian company.

I recently bought a couple OBEY shirts from here.

They use a diffusion printing technique on some of their shirts that makes it feel like there is no print, and all of them are less than $30.

Though I think they are a hip-hop targetted brand, the fit is pretty slim. They are quite long though, but I'm tall so the fit is right.

Durability is a ? because they are pretty thin, but I'm really liking them so far.

Something I do sometimes too is think of my favorite music groups and look at their online stores. I recently bought one from the Thievery Corporation online store that was AA and I love it.

It's [diffusion] called discharge, actually. Just to let you know.

As for the Breakbeat Science Shirts, their cut & sew shirts they had last year were really awesome. Great bang for your buck at ~35 USD.

Ok. Not that these are good t-shirts but some from the first link are quite funny.

    http://www.tshirtsthatsuck.com

    http://www.tshirthell.com

The second link has t-shirts that could would be offensive to some. Not for the weak at heart.

Edit: If the links don't work please advise. I'm at work and my internet is proxied so I can't double check the links.

Get yourself to a few concerts and pick up the band t-shirts. 30 bucks for the real deal makes a lot more sense than that goofy $70 designer trash.
