Does anyone have a good insight into the online MTM companies? I've been browsing the forum and the web, but it is difficult to get the full picture. Has anyone here tried more than one of the MTM manufacturers out there, and what is your verdict?

Having only used a Swedish version (TailorStore.se), offering MTM shirts made in Sri Lanka, I am now awaiting my first order from Modern Tailor.

How does Modern Tailor stack up against Indochine or Cottonwork? Are these the "big three" in the MTM world? What are they good or bad at, respectively, fabrics, exactness in measures, buttons, collar, cuffs, selection of design options.

I know many of you would tell me to go bespoke, or to get a good shirt and take it to the tailor. Fine, I'll keep that option in mind. But my question is regarding online MTM stores.

I've used Tailor Store many times and have always gotten good results. Therefore, Ive not had the need to try anyone else, for shirts anyway.

For what it is worth - I emailed jantzentailor.com two weeks ago for an order, and re-sent the email last week. No response. No bounceback from the email. I will now never use them.

I've received some shirts from Tessitura Monti that I like a lot. They have some patterns you don't see everyday. You probably can't tell from the picture, but the white stripes are actually mesh.

I don't believe you can order from them directly. I ordered mine online from Nelson Wade.
