There's actually a lot of room. Like, a lot. I was surprised at how roomy they are.

a humble suggestion from standeven’s heritage twist. not the exact same but similar affect.
Updated response: I had a chance to look at this book today. It's very nice. I asked the Steed crew about vintage-y fabrics, and Edwin immediately pulled it out and said that it reminds him of old Reid & Taylor. I quite liked this one. There's also a blue and taupe version and few nice twills.

This Fox Worsted Classic also caught my eye.

Nothing this time. Thinking seriously about a 3-piece in that Heritage Twist fabric.

Had a fitting for my Angelli tweed sport coat. It's looking very nice.

Heritage twist is 14
Ounces. Sturdy cloth with a bone hard handle like the Universal bunch, just more interesting vintage patterns

Have a 3pc with the dark blue semi plain ( 15017). Love that bunch, very sturdy and dry. Subtle texture, not to fancy given the vintage inspiration. My tailor also loves it.
I wear it from fall through to mid spring easily.

From what I see in social media, A&S current standard cut looks like this:

This silhuette, again based on the few examples that can be seen in social media, is quite different to what seems to be the standard cut of Steed nowadays.

Steed seems to favour a more nipped waits, more open quarters and more belly on the lapels. What is your view?

I have my first fitting with A&S this summer. if possible i can try to take some pics and share
