It came as a surprise the spalla insellata in my last suit order and this style is growing on me everyday.

Dear @aristoi bcn,

Another great make-up my friend! The shoulders are slightly concave, right?

I am also fond of the choice of the tie (knit?)

In a nutshell, everything is very tasteful!

Best,

Dimitris

PS
This is the second hit from you on our 2022 budget!

Master Iorio is definitely full of surprises. Quite unusual silhouette giving an visual impression of over-extended shoulder but, looking at it closer, it's quite striking yet balanced. The arch of the lapel is beautiful. I know a Pirozzi who also masters this type of shoulder and a vintage tie seller who affects it.

Hi Dimitiris,

Yes, shoulders are a bit concave but have little to no padding. Also there is a fair amount of extension. Tie is knitted indeed, in a mix of wool and cashmere from Sozzi.

Thank you for your comments.

Flannel suits cry out for flapped pockets. Don't get patch pockets on a flannel suit.

If you get a flannel suit and plan to wear it casually, it's worth thinking about how you will wear it. Flannel suits look better with a tie. If You don't want to wear a tie with this suit, you can wear a thin turtleneck. But if you don't like turtlenecks and don't plan to wear a tie, you might want to go with another cloth.
Hi , May I ask what colour turtlenecks wild you recommend for a navy flannel suit ? Thank you.
