They aren't finished yet. And it's the same width as my last coat made by Frank.

Edit: To be fair, the new sport jacket was cut for 4.75" lapels. I changed my mind last night back to 4.5". Should I go for 4.75"?

I'd say 17-18oz, pretty thick. I don't think I can wear it indoors. Definitely wearing it as a coat.
I have a similar Marling Evans herringbone of the natural collection. It is similar but at 13 Oz is much more lighter. I would love to have heavy herringbone like yours.

Malloy makes it I think, not sure. Magee makes something similar as well, at a pretty good price.

This jacket is softer than The Armoury's AMJ3. Might steam the back to get rid of the creases.

Sorry for crappy lighting.

The jacket looks a bit short on you.

The breast pocket also seems a bit high, and the patch pockets very close to the bottom edge.
Yes, I requested about 1.5 inch shorter than the last commission. Still covers my butt  FYI I'm wearing gym shorts in the picture.

Edit: That's just how Frank make's his patch pockets. I agree the breast pocket is a tad high.

I'll try to get a better picture tomorrow morning.

I had a basted fitting in London yesterday for a jacket and the patch pockets were bloody huge. They were akin to strapping a couple of large buckets onto a jacket. Got me thinking; is there an optimal shape of patch pocket, combining useability with elegance?
