Yes I saw the pictures, that was what got me looking into that fabric ?That is a fantastic cloth for a jacket. Salvo made that for a San Francisco customer.

Yes sir, will do right now.Too plain and lightweight
Tell Frank that polyester is made from oil, which is made from dinosaur bones, a natural material.
Update on my commission with Frank. Apparently he found out that the lambswool taupe had polyester blended into the fabric. He ? some pieces to make sure and told me to pick another fabric. Now the new fabric is this 14-15oz light taupe with a check pattern. What do y'all think? Another option was heritage fox flannel in navy blue. I wasn't going to pick some 24oz tweed...

I don't like houndstooth.

Yes, I messaged Frank about waiting for Fox to reopen their mills and getting a fabric that I would like. If not, I'll drive up to Syracuse andwhat are you looking for color/weight/texture-wise?
I have two swatches from the Kirkton range posted above and they’re really nice. Moon has some nice, lighter weight Shetland tweeds as well.
Personally, I think I’d be a bit penny wise/pound foolish to pick a cloth that you don’t like for a bespoke jacket just because he only has limited stuff on hand...
Please share insights on fabrics. I would like to know more options! Im still a n00b.Unless you are in a particular rush to get the jacket, I would wait for Fox and others to open up. Get a cloth you are really excited about. I don’t care for the options you listed, except for the NMWA cloth, which i have seen in person and it does look better IRL. Even then, I think you can find better options.

For colder months, just a brown Moon tweed herringbone sc and a navy mini pattern wool sc.What do you have in your current wardrobe?
For colder months, just a brown Moon tweed herringbone sc and a navy mini pattern wool sc.
Warmer months Minnis Tobacco Linen, Fox Air Brown gunclub check, navy hopsack.
Ongoing/Upcoming projects: Zegna 14milMil14 green brown glen-plaid, rust Harris Tweed.
So I was thinking the one being made by Frank is going to be for the cooler months, since he like heavier fabrics. I was thinking a lighter shade of brown since I like to wear darker trousers.
