Such a stylish tailor. I wish I had take a photo of him today - he was wearing a navy sport coat with tonal blue windowpanes, dove grey flannels, olive shirt in cashmere cotton with a blue foulard tie. All fitting very loosely - closest thing to sprezz that I’ve seen in real life.

Think they didn’t use a sleevehead and let the sleeve drape naturally. That’s my guess. Type of cloth used matters to execute this effect.
Not aware of a name for it.

Dj for me is either midnight blue or cream...I have never had a black dj made...though I have been considering getting a black 1 sb peak lapel with piped lapels

Prima prova, so not much to see here yet. But this Maison Hellard number is shaping up to be a rather fetching garment. So glad I was able to get a length.

On a related note, I checked out some interesting cloths made by Kuzuri - quite a famous mill here. In the picture below are two types of worsteds: merino on the right and cheviot on the left. The cheviot feels very hardy.

This one’s a kicker: 70% wool 30% (you read that right) BLUE FOX. A suiting cloth that feels eminently luxurious - it has an almost cashmere-like touch, which is a quality I’m not sure is desirable in suitings.
