Do you know how often he visits NYC? Also, is there a minimum order for first time clients?

I don’t think he has a minimum. He visits New York maybe 4x/year, I believe. But don’t quote me on that. Pretty frequently.

Completed bespoke grey glen plaid suit with subtle yellow stripes. Cloth is from the lighter weight section of the Standeven 'Explorer' bunch.

I actually am quite OK with this cloth... It's relatively light in weight (great for Shanghai's humid summer) but definitely not the most crease-resistant, as you can tell from the 4th photo of me after a full day of sitting and walking.

First fitting with a new tailor. This time milanese. Cloth is Loro Piana neo-vintage fine serge (likely worsted) cashmere. It will be DB, 6 buttons, flapped pockets, ticket pocket flapped too. Buttons will be silver made by Claudio Ranfagni from Florence.
