  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

Herby pics of my new summer jacket, it's a replacement of a cheap mtm jacket I had in true blue.
It's unlined with only lining in the sleeve, the cloth itself is very lightweight and hard to tailor.
100% wool with a faint white check in it. I really like it, there is some small wrinkling between the schoulder blades, probably because I put tension on shoulder blades, also explains the wrinkles at the sleeves.
Tailor: Gianni Lovadina, classic clean Milanese tailoring, with some shoulder padding and structure in the chest.
Shoulders don't get build up from the beginning of the neck but mostly at the end so it looks more natural and less 'square'.

How does the jacket hold up in the heat with the shoulder pads?

Boy was it a good mail day...

Not gonna have these made up for a while though, as I have them earmarked for very specific tailors.

MBT or can you name the tailor?
They're well known. I was hoping a Milanese/ Roman tailor could take the Agnelli glencheck. I asked Aloisio but he doesn't accept CMT, so Dembech it is.

The Phare Tweed will likely go to Caid to be made into a coat, probably a raglan.
