Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

First bespoke orders - paying school fees I guess. Learning as I go.

Gray herringbone Harris Tweed with Yamamoto-san. Very happy with how this is coming along. Started the order in Feb and will likely be back at the end of this year to pick it up. Brown shetland in first photo unfortunately not mine.

Sport coat with #mbt in Finmerseco mock leno SW4143. Looking back, probably should have asked to have this lengthened.

Do you happen to recall the details (merchant/mill, weight, etc) on the grey herringbone fabric?

Looks great! Very jealous!

Packing for Japan. Just the essentials:

1. Maison Hellard x Taillour collab linen

2. LL Prince Tweed

3. I was just going to bring these two. But then I saw @aristoi bcn ’s new Salabianca linen suit and I got weak, which prompted me to throw this navy canvas linen in the mix…

It’s gonna be a good trip. Reports coming soon!

All those jackets and pants hanging up behind you is your actual closet based on all the bespoke fittings you posted.
By the end of this year, that might just be a reality…
Lovely! Do you intend to try any new tailors in Japan this trip? Couple of interesting new guys opening up that caught my eye like Kengo Arai
One new one (British style) in Tokyo that some folks here might be interested in. I haven’t had a chance to explore outfits in Yokohama like Arai, but it looks like that is a hotbed for tailoring.

Hi guys. Having a navy blazer made. Looking for a navy hopsack fabric with the following specs:

4 season
Hard wearing
Matte finish
Lots of texture

Was planning to get the house hopsack from Anglo-Italian, but it is sold out. Any other suggestions? Thank you!
