Just got this from Sartoria Corcos. Very pleased. Might do some minor alterations to sleeve length. Trousers are also from Corcos, but not new. Tie is from Antonio Muro, which is a very underrated tie maker from Naples. Hard to find anyone carrying his stuff, they do not speak any English so I guess that's why. They actually make the ties themselves unlike many other "tie makers" from Naples. I don't have any more details on the fabric unfortunately, I picked it from one of Kotaro's vintage bunches.

I really like the jacket. It seems to be in the conservative side of Kotaro's work (longer jacket and less opened quarters than usual).

To me, the sleeve looks good, but of course if you already have a preference (and therefore your shirts have a particular length) it would be better to shorten them.

Thank you. The observation is correct. The cut is a bit longer than Kotaro usually makes them, and a bit fuller too.

I really like Grey Birdseye. Big fan of the Lesser 13oz. I am probably going to sit tight for the next little while. Although I am leaning towards another jacket. I really enjoy the versatility of jackets.

Beautiful coat Leaves. It looks very natural on you. And I like the extra length.

It is indeed Harris Tweed. I commissioned it quite a while back, probably over a year ago, I thought I picked the cloth from Kotaro's vintage selection that he keeps on small cards but my memory might fail me, could have picked it from the cloth he keeps in his show room.

I think grey Birdseye would be a really good choice.

I like grey birdseye also, but not when the cloth is very smooth and refined. I much prefer the more rustic, textured versions. If you are prefer the more rustic textured versions, I would suggest the grey birdseye from Smith Woolens 14 oz book. I am having it made up. It is the best that I have seen.

In the process of getting my first bespoke suit. First fitting will be in about a week and a half. Wanted to get opinions on buttons. I wanted genuine horn but can only find dark grey that is partially polycarbonate or black buttons. The question is do I go black horn, dark grey part genuin horn or tagua Nut? Providing photo of my fabric which is actually much darker in person. About somewhere between mid grey and charcoal. [IMG]

Smith's 14oz Steadfast bunch? It's very good indeed. I also like Harrisons Oyster 13oz bunch. It also has very nice texture.

I agree with you on texture, but 14oz is way to heavy for my CA climate.

@Newcomer , that jacket looks fanfrickentastic. @Despos , please come to California.
