I'm not that yoked anymore but I have a large drop (though it's down from my best - having a kid is rough). But I'm not that tall (6' even).

I think his point is well taken that a ticket pocket can be busy unless you have a lot of space.

My torso is very long and legs very short though. 30" inseam on 6' body is weird.
Time for some high waisted trousers to even things out...

A few more pictures from when my tailor ANTON - Kleermaker started working on my second jacket for this season.

100%. Pretty much a necessity. I resisted in my youth, but its absurd how much better it looks on me. I even wear (relatively) high rise denim now.

I talked a customer into doing this and it was like pulling teeth. After he got his first pair and saw how much better it looked, he wanted to replace all his pants.

I, too, have learned the benefits of high waisted trousers. Some of the ones I have sit on my waist better than any other trousers I have. All of my future purchases will have a higher rise.

My first bespoke suit was....around age 24/25. My tailor tried vigorously to convince me, but I was resistant. I regret my youthful stubbornness.

Paul (the guy behind the IG account paulluxsartoria) said he was charged something like $100 to take in the waist (don't hold me to the number. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was pretty high).

I had a jacket that also needed to be altered at some point. I vaguely remember them telling me that they charge for alterations. This was a few years ago.

Typically me to answer a year later. It actually was 300 GBP.

Will be completely invisible, and since on a DB not even a chance of some wind showing it off. It's just for my own personal enjoyment (read: sickness).
