Looks like you beat me to it. Also, I thought on two button sleeves your are suppose to have some spacing?
Well you can do what you want. I like them close together think it looks neater.
Interesting, the front dart is not yet finished. I just sew this kind of basting fitting in Korea before. Where does this tailor come from ?
Fair enough but I do recall reading that the two button look
was very ivy/brooks brothers.
I do think a little spacing is preferable. Moreso the third jacket on right, not the leftmost. As with all buttons on jackets, the spacing that looks best is a case by case basis of the particular jacket features, the fabric, the type of buttons, your mood, how much coffee you had, etc.
B&tailor is based in South Korea but they cooperate with a Swedish tailor called Robin Pettersson Tailor that is the one who has taken my measurements and does all the fittings.
Will be doing two buttons on this one after being talked out of doing one button.
I've created an instagram - https://instagram.com/artisanagora/ - where I hope to build up a really big library of everything thing bespoke. So if, next time you upload a picture - I would like the opportunity to also post it on instagram.
who talks you out of one button and why?
best choice for sportcoats imo
Someone who is an advocate of the ivy/trad/brooks brothers look. I'll get my one button on the next sport coat.
