Does the ‘noticeable difference’ explain why the pockets are so far from level on you? Did the original client have a shoulder drop on the other side to your own perhaps?

    Looks great even so.

Did the same tailor make the brown linen trouser as the jackets you posted?
The work on the fitting and finished jacket have details that perplex me and don't jive with the work on the trousers. Sort of a mixed breed. Just curious

I have 3 coat makers and 2 trouser makers that work for me. Coat makers don't touch trousers, vice versa.

That explains it. These pieces all show a different provenance.

"work for me" are you in the business or a client?

I make what the customer and I agree will look best on them. I don't force down a style. I have one coat maker who worked for Rafael and he can make a real shirt sleeve shoulder (not that ruffled exaggeration from Naples today), a soft shoulder, roped shoulder. Not every customer that walks in can have the same silhouette. That's what is negative about Savile Row.

Really hope the trousers are part of a suit. Would be a fantastic monochrome look.

Can he put it on backwards so the high and low shoulders match better?

    I'm a problem solver Chris...

Btw, I'll be in Chicago the 17th-19th if you find yourself inexplicably thirsty.
