I know I'm going to get tons of **** for this, but one wash jeans will fade nicely if you wear them hard enough and don't wash them. I have a pair of jeans that I got at American Eagle for $23 and have worn maybe 4 times a week for the past 8 months. The wash was called "dark resin wash" and although I didn't know it at the time that means they have a resinous coating on the denim. The resin wore off where there was a lot of friction and the creases faded but most of the pants are as dark as the day I bought them. I don't see contrast like that on raw denim. I cant wait to see how they look in another year. (when I bought them I never heard of raw denim and only found this forum after I searched the web when I noticed the awesome fades.[I didn't wash them so they wouldn't fade])
