1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i really do not know where all this hate is coming from.

i have written a long reply to the statements i find attributed to me, including insinuations of me or others having limited manual or mental capacity. boohoo. i have opted to not have it shown as it will not bring anything good in this forum.

i have shared my opinion on this and i do not wish to add more fuel to this pointless fire.

Having emailed the real Martin Nimier, it appears I owe Georges5 an apology.

    Mea culpa.

That said, "galuchat" is not used in the English language [IMG]

Or you can just go straight to www.souliers.net for all the porn you can watch instead of having someone feeding you one picture at a time.

Being most lazy, I appreciate it fed to me one picture at a time with intelligent comments on each posting from other members. Kinda like taking a bus tour with a guide.

I suppose the folks that are annoyed might refrain from clicking on this link again in order to better control their annoyance.

I have heard it said that being angry at someone is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die. I recall that quote was attributed to Rudi Tomjanovich in his book but I also recall that he said he had heard it from someone else. I do understand the thought however.

    Perry

Edit after following the above link to the original site: One other rather obvious advantage of the thread here vs Souliers is that the comments here are in english. I do suppose many of the members can read and speak french but unfortunately I am just as sure that some of us are less fortunate and can't.

I'm with acidicboy on this one. Is someone forcing people at gunpoint to review this thread every day? If you don't care for it, why not just ignore it rather than returning over and over again to complain about how boring or pointless or whatever it is? [IMG]
    And don't panic!

    me too.
ive only commented on the shoes i liked.
    just wondering:

is aubercy considered better than lobb or corthay?

    aubercy rtw or bespoke?
very interested if rtw aubercy is considered better than lobb prestige, although i doubt it.

    a) I don't think Martin's been driven away. He may have left for Bastille Day weekend, like most Parisians.

    b) I wouldn't consider Aubercy better than Lobb or Corthay. It's a very good shoe, though. The RTW are made to a good spec by an Italian factory. The bespoke are gorgeous and made in Paris by Didier Martinez. They have a very broad stock special offer as well made in the Italian factory with some finishing in France.
