One of a kind Florsheim Imperial

I have a pair of vintage (late 70s, early 80s) Florsheim Imperial Kenmoor split-toe, hand raised apron Norwegians. They have never been tried on, let alone worn. They are a light butterscotch (or very light caramel, or butternut, I don't know the exact color since Florsheim really didn't use this color in general production). The shoe has been verified by a former cobbler for Florsheim. The problem is, I have no idea how to value a one-off shoe like this. I'd post a photo, but, true to my total lack of technologic ability I am wholly incapable of doing so. If I can email a photo to someone that does, I'd be happy to. Any information anyone can contribute will be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I'm new and I'm told I can't send PMs until I post more. Feels kinda good, someone my age being treated like a kid--like being carded at a liquor store!

Is the shoe really one-off?

I guess I should ask, rather than destroy credibility before I earn it, whether anyone is familiar with a butterscotch split-toe Kenmoor? I have been told by my cobbler that this was never in production by Florsheim, and that he has never seen one. Please, if I am incorrect, let me know. Thanks

I've seen the model; however, it is pretty rare. I can't say that I've seen it in this color. Greekgeek is probably as familiar with these vintage Florsheims.

I know the shoe exists in a single-sole version. The rarity, I'm told, is in the Imperial version. This one, I'm told, is only special order, and the true rarity is the color. Thanks so much, by the way, for posting the pics.

These are a 9B--I'm assuming that they're like other Imperials, and will fit one width larger. Of course, I wear everything from 8.5 to 10 depending on how much I like the shoe!

Flyfishark, great shoes. Do please read the forum rules, though, as you are not allowed to bump your thread without dropping the price. Please check other F/S threads to see how one should properly format an ad (provide clear brand, style, size, price information along with pictures). The rules are strictly enforced; just trying to help you avoid an internet tongue-lashing by one of the mods before your 10th post.

Bump for superb shoes.

I've seen this shoe before in double sole and in a more desirable color. I doubt it's a "one-off" meaning a MTO.

Just because it is rare doesn't make it worth $100000

If you put it on ebay it will get $100-200. Probably less than the original price, adjusted for inflation.

That said, if I owned a pair in my size, I would wear it often. Good luck

My name is Giuseppe and I live in Italy.
Very pretty shoes indeed.
I like very much this light colour.
