Do you have a trouser with one leg that kicks out to the side? Or one crease line up straight and one swing to the side?
The offending leg is probably longer than the other. All that is caused by a high hip on one side.
Its all caused by a tilted pelvis. The pelvis is one solid rough rectangle. It has a pivot point at the center of the top. When one side goes up and out the other side goes down and in. So your trouser hangs unbalanced So what can we do for this?
On a RTW trouser adding cloth to the top of the hip that needs it is not practical; and will look odd.
There is usually about an inch space between the top of the pocket opening and the waist band seam. here the waist band can be lowered on the low side. Sometimes it helps, but not always.
If you are ordering a M2M garment ,specify how much you want them to add to the high hip.
check the tutorial on measuring the high hip.
If you are ordering a custom made garment call the tailors attention to the problem.
He will adjust his patterns accordingly. Because the higher hip gets a little wider and the low hip gets a little narrower.
This is done in addition to the difference in the height.
