One button suit for business

IMO, there's no reason per se that one-button suits can't be used for business. Its the agressive cut and styling of this particular suit that make it inappropriate for business.

Spot on.

I work in the City of London (original financial district) in a law firm. A good one. Most of my suits are SB1s. No one gives a monkeys about my one button suits here. They fit properly and do not look about of place. As many have said, it's the fit and colour and texture that are the big deal really. Does one button suit you? Does the fit "fit"? If yes to the aforementioned, does it work in your business environment? Do you feel confident in it in said environment? That said, I do think that two buttons can sometimes be "safer", and, in my opinion, would work better with a ticket pocket (if you are going for one). J

As other have mentioned, that coat is too short...by at least three inches, in my opinion.

The single button looks odd for a conservative business suit...I know that I wouldn't wear it, and I don't believe I would recommend anyone else wearing it either, regardless of how young that person might be.
