I've just done a search on this topic, and uncovered threads saying that Canali's Proposta line is:

Less handwork than the Canali Milano line, but still canvassed

    OR

More fashion forward than the Milano line, but still canvassed

    OR

Canali's cheap "Diffusion" line, and therefore fused rather than canvassed

Anyone care to provide the authoritative word on the subject?

The answer I have most consistently received is:

More fashion forward than the Milano line, but still canvassed

I *know* that the bulk of their pieces are not fused (I have never seen a fused proposta jacket, but have not seen every proposta jacket).
