I like the suit and the no socks, but the sneakers are too chunky. I think some sneakers with suits look okay, but it appears the leg of his trousers are fairly tapered, and this would definitely require a slimmer shoe in my book. I think a tan dress shoe would have gone better - he could still eschew the socks.

Well, I for one stray away from wearing no socks or low ones with any suits... I agree about the sneakers, they are a bit chunky. But honestly I think he'd have looked more well put together with some regular white athletic socks or (even better) a good pair of argyle ones. As for slim sneakers, you can't get any slimmer than Chuck Taylor. I think they're taking hints from GQ the way they're adding pinstripes and plaids to their colours nowadays.

I recall that the Thom Browne no socks look was only shown with formal wear.

Trainers/sneakers with a suit just doesn't work for me, with the possible exception of something like a cotton khaki suit.

LK is that really Thom Browne? I could never wear something like that. It doesn't appear that he can either.

Truly; it was from Time Magazine or something about two or three years ago.

The shoes are especially horrible and appear especially large. Looks like he gleaned them off a bum.
