Friday I will post results and observations on the survey I did on

Unless it's Halloween, I don't think men should currently wear capes but this guy does pull off his whole look. Anyone of the elements that he is wearing by themselves would've looked silly but everything together works for him, and I stress, for him. Even his stance and glare work with the outfit. He looks like a Black Isrealite, but that's a whole other thing.

I've thought about getting a midnight blue cape with scarlet lining (Field Artillery regimental color) for formal wear, but they run at $1000+ which just isn't worth it. Right now.

it works with his look. I'd be wary if he walked into my bank while I was in line tho.

    sorry, I don't like that.

I could see certain capes in certain situations - like Tom said - for formal uniform or civillian occasions. the swiss guards of the pope wear cool capes. I have seen some arab men wear very cool capes - very minimalistic, no overcape, boxy shoulders, often lined in animal skin.

    I think he looks great.

It's definitely outside the mainstream, but I like it.
