They guy in white looks like Ali G's cousin.

Did they call each other and plan to have the ying/yang look that day or was it coincidence? Regardless, the guy in black got the better end of that straw as it's harder to wear all white and not look awkward.

Unless you're Tom Wolfe, I guess.

The get-up in black looks all right, the one in white is bordering on contrived and overdone - the double sunglasses/glasses add to that effect. I think he gets away with it, though.

When they stand together like that, it looks very costumey, unless they co-ordinated this for some event, or the like. These clothes work well enough separately, but I get the same feeling as when I see grown-up identical twins in identical clothes. It gets gimmicky.

And then he could have worn tri-cornered hats without harm, I reckon

He is also known for being a bit of a fraud, and an overall lousy designer. My favorite comment on Karim Rashid comes from Tobais Wong and the redesign is meant to be used on ones self in case they are overcome by the pomposity and idiocy of Rashid.http://www.brokenoff.com/book.html Tobias Wongs work is worth looking at in general.

I just went to a lecture by him for his first museum show which is at Frank Lloyd Wrights Price Tower in Bartlesville Oklahoma. Interesting talk. He was wearing white and pink. I enjoyed the lecture, as far as some of the finer points on his "I want to change the Woorld" idea, I'll save that for later. I was not aware of the extent of his production though.
