1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I had that in there! For whatever reason, I didn't like the blue with the blue this morning. I should have stuck with my first instinct.

Solid shirts with suits will always be a classic ensemble and I myself prefer solids, work mostly calls for it as well.

Just read this. I think we must have the same jacket. That's Banana Republic and I feel the lapels are a bit narrow and the buttoning point is a little high. The length is fine on me though. Still, I suspect we have the same jacket. I got it from my dad, who never wore it, so I don't know when it was purchased.

And I dig the pocket square, though am now curious as to the Drakes which Spoo referred to.

I rate this thread. I love it when the texture of the fabric becomes the 'pattern' that defines the outfit, and the wearer's confidence comes across so much more.

As with any 'style', too much is never a good thing, but seeing some of these pictures really works for me :).

Very sleek and elegant. Great tie knot. Envious of that!

Just found this thread, some great outfits in here. I'd like to show this to everyone dressing flashily. If they don't get it now, they never will.

I also think one shouldn't always wear a PS. Sometimes it fits, sometimes it doesn't.

Agreed. Also NOBD never fails to impress with his simplistic, understated style.

Reviving this thread for Kaplan with a pic from a few weeks ago. Sorry about the PS...

That looks great, NOBD. I might've gone w/ gray socks, since the blue ones match the shirt too closely imo.

I know what you mean, especially in the pic. These are the socks:

So, blue: yes, but not as matchy as they look in the pic.
