1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I know a guy who has a plaid Brioni flannel suit and happened upon a Barbera tie in the same fabric. He wore them wogether with a white shirt and pocket square and it look terrific. I don't advocate the look, but some guys can do it.

What's wrong with it? I think that suit looks awesome. Unless you're referring to the tucked in matching tie

This exact suit and tie are featured in the new BG magazine. Maybe it's the latest trend a la Thom Browne. [IMG]

Tie aside, I really like that suit, with a nice waist and high armholes. I presume it's RLPL?

Indeed. I hate the look however, AND why the fuck are they making ties out of suiting material?

Why not? When I was last in NYC I couldn't put down a wool Prince of Wales-print suiting wool tie at Bergdorfs. I think it was from Barbera. I'd never wear it with my PoW suit, but as a casual-wear tie it's really neat. And while I'm not crazy about the suit pictures, let alone the tucked in matching tie, I could go for the jacket as a sportcoat.

The true genius of the tie is not shown; it extends farther and includes a special pouch to warm the male appendage. I hear Ralph's version of the 'onesey' is flying off the shelves.

And you thought that man was just straightening his tie...

I like suit and tie both, but put together it looks ridiculous. It's a full-on version of the exactly-matching tie and pocket square sets. This would make you look as if you were spray-coated in PoW with a blue windowpane.

And what's a "onesey"? Do I want to know?

I love that suit, and I like the tie, but not together.

    Because:

    1. Made you look.
    2. You remember the products ("I don't like them together, but that is a nice suit/tie")
    3. Pisses people like you off.

The angled pattern of the tie and the lapels look even more similar with the wider lapels of the DB jacket [IMG]

That makes this an even worse idea.
