...VHS cassettes are still being sold in Italian supermarkets...

La dolce vita!

Seriously though, for people without DVD drives, a USB DVD writer costs less than a good eat at a restaurant, and it's always a good idea to have one lying around just in case. :)

Anyway, it might make sense for the creator to try to get it distributed through iTunes. I'm pretty sure it would bring in a far wider audience.

I just ordered the DVD in PAL format but I will hopefully be playing it on my iMac - will that work smoothly?
Well, I think once a computer is involved, the framerate pulldown is no longer an issue. Should work fine. I hope it's regionless though. it is. :D

Rdiaz: Yup, bought a very portable and light computer in summer and that doesn't have a optical drive.

I normally manage through Netflix, Spotify and similar services so I very seldom need to read physical media.

Djosef: That might be a good idea, and as you say, they are quite cheap now.

I remember struggling a bit with Windows 7 install with USB-sticks so I might do that to reduce my stress levels if I need to reinstall/format W7. :)

Assuming this is still DVD only? Would love to purchase a downloadable copy if available!

Had to revive this thread ... I really enjoyed O'Mast and was happy to see that "E poi c'é Napoli" was announced earlier this year. But I cannot find any source where to buy it (Europe). I've ordered O'mast through the Armoury back then, but they don't list the Napoli movie. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, and well ... that explains everything. Do you know if there are any plans to release/sell the movie on DVD or similar?
