1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I guess the title says it all, but I'd like to see y'all's reasoning behind your choices and if you have any individual teams or people who you have a personal interest in succeeding.

Obviously, I'm rooting all the way for all United States participants but I'd also like to see the Japanese do well because of my wife's partial Japanese ancestry and because I happen to deeply respect the Japanese.

Lastly, I'd like to see Great Britain do well because they're the host and I think they deserve a reward for their efforts. Of course I'm a sentimentalist and some of you might think I'm silly for thinking that way.

I always like seeing the host country doing well.
