Olive waxed jacket with white trousers advice

Good evening gentlemen,

I am the happy owner of an rare Belstaff Darlington Jackett in olive green (with black leather patches on the shoulders) and I don't really know how to combine it right now because of the black leather patches.
I can't mix it with blue jeans, or with brown leather shoes and accessories because of the black...

Now I thought I could use my white trousers (slim fit) and black elegant boots or maybe black leather tassel loafers ? what do you guys think ?

And then there is another question : What to wear under the Jacket ? a simple black turtleneck pullover ? Maybe somebody has another idea

That's a guideline that mostly applies to formal wear. There's nothing wrong with wearing the jacket with the brown items.

However, loafers with the jacket somewhat contradict the rugged origin of the latter.

What to wear underneath? A turtleneck might look strange with a rather masculine jacket. A pullover with a crew neck would be safer. Or a casual button-front shirt, such as gray chambray.
