1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Did great patterned cotton shirts for burma or burnshaft (I should check the label) in the 70s; I think I have three of them.

Pix in the NYT from the 50s and 60s show OC in well cut suits, single breasted, 3 button, peaked lapels. Nice.

Not so nice: NYT said his shoes were made by "Loeb."

I think he farmed out his name and some stuff, like suits, under his label weren't the best quality.

yes, too bad about the farming of his name in the 80s, though. but it still doesn't take away the contributions he made in the past, specially the camelot years.

and he certainly has a very cool name. oleg.

I tend to equate him with Adolfo, Scassi, and possibly Halston even though people tend to regard Halston as more a revolutionary than the aforementioned others.
