1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think the jacket looks fine esp if paired with tweed or flannel trousers, but with jeans it does look too big (at least too long) and is why I think the jean/sportjacket look is so easy to get wrong. One good effect of the cropped jacket movement is that those jackets do look great with jeans, being shorter in length than normal.

Exactly. To work with jeans a sportcoat has to be short and trim, and preferably soft.

Get Smart- there aren't any current WAYWT contests, but if there were you're last few looks (especially the one w/ the white PS shoes) would totally solidify you as my vote. So sharp, so consistent... some day I hope to dress even half as well as you do as consistently as you do.
(when i complete a degree break out of my current retail employment slump that is).

rye, by far the weakest look i've seen from you.

its pretty boring, and I feel if you critiqued it as you critique the majority of other fits it'd be a 2 maybe 3/10.

I'd definately place myself within the category of average, especially as most of my posts are during work hours and everything I wear is relative to my work environment, working in dye houses, laundries, sew shops, it can get pretty messy so a jean x tee combo is my daily uniform. I'd have to say that 3/10 for a pink tee with an evil bunny emblazoned across the front, JP jeans in a pretty decent wash and Con's is a tad harsh......but reluctantly accepted because your posts are always fair.[IMG]

    Shoes are ugly
So is the hoody; I mean are we going to the gym or something?
I do not mean to be so rude,
But I must speak frankly Mr. Shankly.\\

Take the hoody off, and add in a more suddle, simpler shoe.

Working from home today and it is supposed to be yet another hot one. Somewhere above 100.

I posted some very casual things on this thread over the last two weeks and got interesting feedback suggesting a more trim silhouette, lower rise on the pant, and to not roll my sleeve at the forearm, but to roll it higher. So I am incorporating some of those suggestions here today.

Shirt: Borrelli MTM twill medium blue and white
Pants: Cucinelli (and yes, they are cargo pants). And, in true Cucinelli fashion, they are not hemmed, they are rolled at the cuff.
    Shoes: Mantellassi
    Belt: RLPL

^^^ I like the shoes, and I think the cargo pants are an interesting choice. Sleeves def. look better rolled up higher.

well yes, i was about to go to the gym... but goddamnit is the hoodie really that bad? i def. agree that the shoes are way too bright and obnoxious for that fit.
