Those lacostes are alright - I think I'd remove the aligator if I had them.

I wouldn't. I think it looks good and give the shoes an added pop. I'm not one for brands but that green really contrasts well with the all white shoe.

I got a pair of these last summer. They have the contrast green without the logo:

White shoes need added pop?

You are correct. I like the looks of these a lot, but they have absolutely zero padding and can be uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time if you're going to be doing a lot of walking/standing on concrete. Or maybe that's just because I'm getting old.

Yeah, that's what I'm wearing... except I tucked in the shirt to show the belt/jeans. Not really seeing anything unusual...

Yeah my waist size is smaller than it was when I got these so I have to cinch the belt fairly tight to keep them at my true waist. I usually sag them more when I don't have my shirt tucked in.

They seem pretty solid. The canvas is top notch and they are comfortable. On the other hand, you are paying a premium ($105 CAD), as far as canvas sneakers go.

I was thinking the same thing. Might do that for a 2nd pair that I'll buy when they will probably be heavily discounted in the next few months.

Here's my first pair--the more traditional Chuck looking one

Sorry, I'd stick with chucks. But then again, I'm Lacoste intolerant.
